So I really don't like half naked guys on the cover, but the summary looked promising. I was an easy book to read, nothing really special. You meet Lil, who thinks she is just an ordinary girl. No scratch that, not ordinair because she is a gypsy, but than she finds out she has special powers. And guess what! She is very strong. Than there is a mysterious boy, who really wasn't al that mysterious. It could have been so much better. I really liked Sykes btw, but there isn't a love triangle going on. The book has all the promising aspects, but it just didn't come out right. There is not a lot of excitement. Even the romance between Lil and Bren isn't al that romantic, hot or exciting. It was just an easy read, nothing special.
