Passion - Lauren Kate

Passion (Fallen, #3)Series: Fallen #3
Release date: 2011

Luce would die for Daniel.

And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.

This book has also an amazing cover, though I liked the cover of the first book the most. Funny that the book with the least beautiful cover turns out to be the best book of the serie. After the second one ended with a huge cliffhanger, I couldn't wait to read this one. Passion was so different to the previous two. The overall story fills in the missing aspects from the first two books. The origin of the curse is neatly fleshed out and explained so that the readers have an better understanding of why and how it started. This book can be complex and confusing, but I didn't had a hard time to read it. It is about al the past reincarnations of Luce and she wants to discover more about the curse and how she can stop it. I found myself intrigued by Luce's past. You finally get to see what happened in the past and how it affected both Daniel and herself. Luce grows up a lot in this book and I really like that. It was a good story and I'm looking forward to the last book!
